We are delighted to announce the Seventh Annual Gala Concert and Dinner on May 19, 2009, featuring our 2009 Career Bridges Grant Winners. It will be held once again the Jumeirah Essex House in New York City.

This year our distinguished Achievement Awards will be presented to

Julius Rudel

Speight Jenkins

Speight Jenkins, General Director of the Seattle Opera and national advocate for the support of young opera singers

Julius Rudel, former General Director and principal conductor of the New York City Opera, renowned for discovering and promoting young opera singers

The Metropolitan Opera Chorus, the stellar group of singers whose nightly presence lends such a vital and exciting dimension to the operatic stage

Some things never change:

  • The desire of talented young opera singers to grow, to excel, to have a chance to share their magnificent voices
  • Their need for mentoring, support, and guidance from top experts
  • Our Career Bridges family commitment to help them, giving them opportunities to achieve their dreams

The evening is planned to celebrate with special guests, wonderful singers, a gala dinner, silent Auction and more!

Join our family and celebrate the achievements of Career Bridges- help us insure its future of mentoring young singers and its community outreach programs which include Kids Love Opera!.
