Saint Louis University, Madrid Campus, Music Program The Saint Louis University, Madrid Campus, Music Program, presents "Interpretation of Spanish Song," to be held in picturesque Granada. The course will cover repertoire, performance practices, diction and grammar, as needed. (Daily classes take place in the Conservatorio Superior Victoria Eugenia of Granada.) Just as Italian, French, German, and English/American song is taught throughout the world, we see our festival/course as a place for young guitarists, collaborative pianists, and singers to come and learn from masters things that they cannot learn in the Spanish conservatory system or in universities and conservatories of many countries. In the end, we hope to see the vast and varied Spanish song repertoire added to standard recital.
